Assessment methodology of risk per critical element and node
TNO has developed a methodology to assess the risk factors to CI at the various levels of abstraction (management, service, cyber, and physical) including an assessment whether MIT may help to mitigate threat and incidents. This includes assessment of dependencies between CI and their services. This methodology is based upon TNO’s CI failure database, TNO’s work about the EU VITA Threat Taxonomy for CI, and dependency work in the EURAM project.
